Oh where have you been?
Hey Everyone,
I have received a few emails and phone calls from people asking how I've been, that they hadn't heard from me for a long time, and asking if I'm ok. And asking if I plan to start hosting open house webinars again soon.
The truth is, I'm just fine… I've just been busy and have had to prioritize several projects over the course of the past several months.
SO… What exactly have I been up to?
1. As always, I focus much of my attention following up with my Web Meet Live prospects and supporting my awesome customers. So I have in fact been available for, and hosting demos and impromptu webinars whenever necessary.
Customer support is, and always has been, my number one priority!
2. You may or my not know this. But one of my favorite things to do is play music. I've played in bands most of my adult life. But I haven't really been in a band for the past 8 or 9 years.
As fate would have it, I attended a "farm jam" the last day of July and met a couple of far out righteous dudes who told me they needed a bass player to sit in with them. I agreed and it just clicked.
So we decided to keep the ball rolling, started a band called Facho And Friends and we've been out playing music several times a week ever since.
After all… All work and no play makes Tim a dull boy!
3. I've been doing some necessary repairs, painting and remodeling around my house… enough said about that!
4. Back in March, I published a video called "Fire Your Webmaster" and did a couple of posts on Facebook, sent a few emails out, and lo and behold, I ended up picking up a handful of customers who have hired me to get their websites up and running for them.
That has now turned into much more than I anticipated because I have now been hired by a couple of local businesses to help them set up and manage their email lists, Facebook fan pages etc.
Yesterday I was hired to shoot some video for a customer to put on their new website I set up at www.BeatervilleCafeAndBar.com
You should check it out… The owner… "Beater Bill" is absolutely hilarious!
SO… Where are we at with the open house webinars?
I think that's going to be left up to you!
As you can see, I've been extremely busy, and although I really, really enjoy hosting the online open house events, attendance on the last few we did was very low… I'm talking about 2 or 3 people.
The entire purpose for hosting the open house events is to give anyone who has a product or service to offer the opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs and ultimately form some partnerships, start some joint ventures, connect on the other social network sites etc.
Personally, I see this as an incredible opportunity!
But if there's no interest in attending among those who are subscribed to my notification list, it simply will not work.
In closing…
I am completely willing to step up and start hosting the open house webinars again… perhaps after the holidays would be a more suitable time to do so. But only if there's an interest on your part.
What you can (and should) do if you'd like me to make a commitment to start hosting the "once a month" open houses again (and you can commit to attending) please let me know in the comments section below. Or you can email me directly at Tim@WebMeetLive.com
If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding the best days, times etc., please let me know as well.
In the mean time…
I hope you all have a happy holiday season, and I look forward to speaking with you again soon!
Sincerely!
Tim Romero
P.S. As always, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to contact me!
